New Club Profile: Endeavour City Football Club
The only junior-focused club in their area, the Endeavour City Football Club (ECFC) is a brand new club who strives to create a supportive and fun environment for their junior players.
The ECFC spoke with the VCFA about their decision to choose VCFA and their goals for their maiden year.
VCFA: What drew you to joining the VCFA?
ECFC: We were drawn to the VCFA’s strong focus on community, participation, and family values, which made it a great fit for ECFC. We wanted a league that supports development and provides a positive environment for young players.
Any recent successes as a club that you're especially proud of?
ECFC: Our biggest success has been growing participation and establishing our junior teams. We are proud to be fielding two junior teams, an Under 8 Mixed team and an Under 10 Girls team, helping create opportunities for both boys and girls to get involved in football.
What are your club’s goals for 2026?
ECFC: Our main goal for 2026 is to secure a permanent venue to support the club’s growth and provide a stable home for our players and families.
What Competitions are you planning to field teams for?
ECFC: We’re starting conservatively with one junior team in VCFA. It’s a toe in the water and we are hoping it is a successful pilot that leads to more possibilities in the future. Personally, I’m excited by what prospects there are with an alternative league for our junior athletes - not just for us but also for the broader community.
