We are thrilled to announce the annual VCFA Coaching Course to be run on the 18th and 19th of March 2022 by Lamartine daSilva.
Lama grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil and played professional soccer inBrazil for AA Portuguesa, EC Santo Andre, Gremio Esportivo Mauaense - before moving to China to play soccer professionally. He has coached around Asia since retirement (India, back to China, Thailand, Malaysia, Phillipines) and then moved to Melbourne 2019 to work for HASA (Hope Australia Soccer Academy) - a program funding by the government of Casey City to develop soccer among the community and marginalized groups, teaching values through soccer.
Within the current climate, we have chosen to reduce the hours of face-to-face time and split the sessions into an online theory session on Friday evening followed by 2x practical sessions on Saturday. For you to receive your certificate following the program, you will need to attend all sessions.

The course will ultimately result in holistically certified coaches with adequate training and education, who can be confident in their approach to coaching and understanding of the game.
In the past, we have run these sessions to each 'age group' of players. This year, participants must commit to the entire course to get the entire benefit of the content presented. The course will be presented in a way that is applicable to coaches (and interested parties) from Kickstart throughJuniors to Senior Men and Women.
