VCFA REFEREE COURSE

The VCFA are working towards a compulsory level 4 accreditation for all our Junior club referees for consistency and best practise. Junior Referees can complete their level 5 online and complete their VCFA level 4 by attending the provided course. We invite any current or new Referees who wish to whistle junior games and complete Senior Assistant Referee training to register.

This will be an all-day event held at the Knox Clubrooms on Saturday the 21st of March from 9am until 5pm with lunch provided. There will be a follow up session andExamination on Monday the 11th of May from 7pm - 10pm.

LOTG INFORMATION SESSIONS

The FIFA Laws of the Game have recently seen major updates and there are many new rules as well as changes to existing rules for our Referees and Association to learn and understand. We encourage ALL our referees - junior, senior, new or current - to join us on Tuesday the 15th or Thursday the 17th of March at Heathmont Baptist Church (78 Cuthbert Street, Heathmont) at 7.30pm to receive appropriate training on these updates.

Clubs, please note - we encourage your Junior Referee Coordinator (or equivalent club person) to attend one of these events, in order to communicate the changes effectively, as we transition into the new LOTG.
